 Jake
Waxenberg,
President, Sillsport USA
Because he grew up playing soccer all
over the United States, Jake Waxenberg knows American soccer inside
and out. He has played for some of the most respected youth academies
in the country, including the La Jolla Nomads (San Diego, Calif.),
Sereno Soccer Club (Phoenix, Ariz.), and IMG Soccer Academy (Bradenton,
Fla.). In addition to his career in America, Jake has been on trial
with clubs in England including Crystal Palace, Portsmouth, and Derby
County.
This diverse background has allowed Jake to
gain vast intricate knowledge of the American soccer landscape. Jake
knows how great players develop and is able to find players at all
levels of the game who might otherwise have fallen through the cracks.
His goal is to help make Sillsport the premier agency in America for
high-caliber soccer athletes.
Jake recently finished his college career at
the University of Denver, where he won a conference title and earned
an NCAA tournament appearance. Along with his expansive soccer knowledge
Jake comes to Sillsport with a background in business, as a graduate
of the highly respected Daniels College of Business at Denver.
A true student of the game, Jake’s familiarity
with all levels of the U.S. soccer system is helping Sillsport maintain
its high standards of excellence as they continue to emerge as a global
